Vision
In a world undergoing unprecedented change—where energy transition, digitalization, and advanced manufacturing are revolutionizing our industries—Systems Engineering stands at the heart of sustainable, transformative innovation. Today more than ever, we need a new mindset: one that connects people, bridges diverse perspectives, and guides purposeful collaboration to create real, lasting impact.
I envision INCOSE as a powerful connector—a living network that unites the vibrant local chapters and members of our region with the global leadership of INCOSE. My mission is to be the voice of EMEA at the highest levels, ensuring that the uniqueness and aspirations of our communities shape the global agenda. Together, we will promote strategic, common initiatives that strengthen our chapters, foster collaboration, and build a thriving ecosystem of multidisciplinary expertise. The challenges we face are complex and evolving. Addressing them demands agility, systemic thinking, and continuous advancement of methods like Model-Based Systems Engineering, Product Line Engineering, and Agile principles—especially as we embrace emerging domains such as Artificial Intelligence and intelligent systems. Our commitment must align with a greater purpose: advancing the UN’s 17Sustainable Development Goals through innovation that is both responsible and inclusive.
The core of this transformation are people and processes. Empowering individuals—particularly the next generation of engineers—is essential to navigate and lead this new era. INCOSE’s future lies in inclusivity, agility, and visionary leadership. As EMEA Director, I will work tirelessly to amplify our region’s voice, enhance the value we deliver to every member, and support our community with integrity and impact. By acting as the essential bridge between local realities and global vision, we will shape a new generation of Systems Engineering—one that is not only technically excellent but deeply ethical, collaborative, and aligned with society’s highest needs. Together, we will lead the way—building a future where innovation empowers, connects, and transforms.
