This presentation explores how systems engineering enables us to develop nuclear and medical solutions safely, efficiently, and with full traceability. From reactors to nuclear medicine, we apply a holistic, structured approach grounded in comprehensive regulatory frameworks. By combining the technologies within the digital engineering ecosystem, we manage complexity and ensure safety assurance, traceability, and sustainability from design through decommissioning.
Speaker: Maria Marta Martig Systems Engineer specialized in the nuclear sector, with solid experience in nuclear power plant projects, research reactors, and radioisotope production. She has worked in lifecycle management, functional analysis of complex systems, and configuration management under a Product Line Engineering (PLE) approach and various digital engineering techniques. Member of INCOSE San Diego, initiating the development of PLE in nuclear environments through the integration of systems engineering, management, and information technologies. Actively participates in IEC standards review groups, contributing to the continuous improvement of international regulations applied to complex systems. She brings a holistic vision oriented toward technical excellence, nuclear safety, and traceability in critical systems.
