Dr Saulius Pavalkis, MBSE EcoSystem Director, Dassault Systèmes

Dr Saulius Pavalkis has 20 years of MBSE solutions experience. He is product owner and analyst at Cameo core team, chief solution architect, consultant, and trainer. He is a world leading expert in MBSE ecosystem, digital engineering, system architecture and simulation. Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in building excellent MBSE ecosystem solutions in aerospace, defense, automotive and other areas. Former affiliate for JPL NASA for MBSE consulting, contractor for Boeing MBSE transformation.

 

Stephanie (Sharo) Chiesi, Director, Digital Engineering – Design & Prototype, Blue Origin

Stephanie Sharo Chiesi is a SERC doctoral fellow at Stevens Institute of Technology in the School of Systems and Enterprises. She is currently the Director for Digital Engineering, Design & Prototype at Blue Origin. Prior to joining Blue Origin, she has held several roles in aerospace and defense including Chief Digital Engineer at SAIC, Senior Principal Systems Engineer at Raytheon Missiles and Defense, and senior systems engineering roles at Paragon Space Development Corporation and Draper Laboratory. Ms. Chiesi is a CSEP and member of the first cohort of the INCOSE Technical Leadership Institute, as well as an inventor with 5 awarded patents. Ms. Chiesi holds two bachelor’s degrees (Aeronautics/Astronautics and Biology) and a master’s degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics all from MIT.

Francesco Dazzi, Senior Technologist, INAF – Instituto Nazionale di Astrofisica

Francesco Dazzi is a Certified Systems Engineer and Project Manager with an educational background in physics. He has more than 20 years of experience mainly dedicated to the construction of ground-based telescopes and technical management of scientific projects. Francesco is the current president of the Italian Association on Systems Engineering (AISE), which is also INCOSE Chapter Italy. He is a member of the INCOSE Technical Leadership Institute.

 

Lucio Tirone ESEP, OCSMP, Lead Engineer, SKA LOW AIV

Lucio Tirone has over 20 years of experience in applying the Model Based Systems Engineering approach to the conception, design, development and testing of complex systems in various technological domains, including defence, space, maritime, transportation and security. He is currently Assembly, Integration and Verification Lead Engineer and Deputy Senior PM of the SKA-Low, the low frequency radio-telescope under construction in Western Australia. Former Director of the INCOSE EMEA Sector and President of Chapter Italia, he holds INCOSE ESEP certification and OMG System Modeling Professional certification.
