The Asia-Oceania Systems Engineering Conference (AOSEC) has become a well-established international conference on Systems Engineering in the Asia-Oceania region. Attendees include academics, researchers, and industry practitioners who exchange ideas, information, and opinions, and share their research findings and experiences in systems engineering.

The AOSEC organizing committee invites you to submit proposals for papers, presentations, panels, and tutorials that focus on the latest advancements, challenges, and opportunities in systems engineering.

We seek a diverse group of experts from academia, industry, and government to share their perspectives and experiences. New and novel applications of systems engineering are highly desired. We will explore the latest developments and cutting-edge approaches that are shaping the future of Systems Engineering.

Presentations offer practitioners the opportunity to share their work, novel approaches, or interesting problems they have addressed, without the need to write a formal paper. We encourage authors to submit detailed abstracts for high-quality presentations that address challenges in the key domains and emphasis areas outlined above. Sessions are generally 40 minutes: 30 minutes for presentation with 10 minutes for Q&A. Initial submissions for presentations include an abstract of no more than 500 words and should be submitted through the presentation submission site at https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=aosec25. The submission should include the following elements:

• Title and an overview of the topic
• Identify specific related industries
• Provide what the audience will take away from the presentation
• Provide background on the presenter and their qualifications to provide the talk.

Each abstract will be peer reviewed and judged on key aspects: originality, topic relevance, technical soundness, and contribution to the practice of systems engineering. Presentations must not be used for the promotion of any commercial product or interest, and further must not promote or voice an opinion on political or religious matters. Presentations must be original work that has not previously been presented to INCOSE (if it has been previously presented elsewhere, this should be noted). Joint authors must nominate a single point of contact.

Tutorial proposals for the following types of classroom instruction will be considered:

• Professional Development Tutorial: designed for both practicing systems engineers seeking to expand their systems engineering skills and seasoned professionals new to INCOSE's systems engineering concepts. It is important not only to instill a new skill in tutorial participants but also to demonstrate how that skill can add real value to the participant’s enterprise.
• Advanced Technology Tutorial: intended for practicing systems engineers. This introduces new technologies with potential to add real value to systems engineering practice, although that potential has not yet been demonstrated.
• Best Practices Implementation: intended for practicing systems engineers who are interested in understanding how to apply systems engineering best practices with a domain-specific emphasis.

The proposal must not contain a sales presentation for the presenter or the presenter’s company, and shall not contain proprietary data. Abstracts should include the topical outline and proposed duration as well as the presenter(s)’ name, affiliation, contact information, and brief biography. If a tutorial is accepted, then one presenter will be eligible for a discounted event registration rate. No other compensation will be provided to the presenter.

Papers provide the opportunity for authors to detail their research or application contribution to the field of Systems Engineering.

 Papers represent a novel contribution that advances the state-of-the-art through original research. The papers focus on empirical investigations, so authors should clearly state the questions addressed and their context in relation to prior knowledge on the subject. They should present relevant theories, state-of-the-art survey, justify the research design decisions, and describe the research methods to permit an evaluation of their quality. The data must support the interpretation of the results, new knowledge and innovation in the application of Systems Engineering. The conclusions should explain the significance of the results and implications for advancing systems engineering research or practice. Case studies based on industry practices are also encouraged and published under this category. These papers should be no longer than 12 published pages in length.
